Silversmithing Textured Silver Rings

Stackable, Textured, And Anything But Basic...

If polished, perfect jewellery isn’t your thing — good.  This is about marks, texture, and pieces that actually feel like they’ve been made (because they have).

You’ll take recycled sterling silver, hammer it, mark it with tools, and leave your own textures in the surface — turning it into earrings that look nothing like anything off a shelf.

PERFECT FOR ADULTS WHO:
• are over smooth, same-same jewellery
• like pieces with texture, depth, and a bit of edge
• want something that feels raw, not manufactured
• want to make something from scratch (and actually enjoy the process)

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

  • 5 hours of creative fun
  • Create your own set of textured stacking rings
  • Texture, shape and form metal by hand
  • Learn about soldering and different finishes
  • Step-by-step guidance along the way by trained jeweller Jemica Ostrofski

Highly recommend

I attended this (2 day) workshop through the Cobb & Co Museum in Toowoomba with my 2 teenagers. Jemica is very patient and knowledgeable, and is happy to go over anything again as needed, and answer any questions. She allows you to work at a level that suits your confidence and experience level, either helping or standing back as needed. Se had a whole range of tools and techniques for us to use and try out, catering as able to our interests and abilities. I would recommend to anyone. And although this was a pre-organised public workshop, Jemica also offers private one-on-one and group workshops and will travel to you, and provides use of her tools for these.
