A collaboration with Bonnie from Bonnie Hislop, a Brisbane based Artist specialising in hand built Illustrative Ceramics. She has garnered a following for her colourful pop-surrealist creations, particularly her cosmic rainbow cat mugs. More recently her practice has evolved from creating playful functional ware to focusing on sculptural forms.

She is now represented by Studio Gallery Group. After years facilitating workshops at various venues around Australia, she has recently launched her own hand building space, Dabbler Studio, in Yeerongpilly.

This collection is handmade is Brisbane by both artists – from hand cut recycled sterling silver and hand formed and glazed ceramic mini Iced VoVo’s and finished with surgical steel and sterling silver jump rings and studs.

A collaboration with Liz from Little Art Earrings that features the amazing artwork of Glenda McCulloch, a Contemporary Indigenous Artist; a descendant of the Kalkadoon tribe.  Her paintings are inspired by the landscape of Kalkatungu country.  She says ‘This country is very dry, rough and rugged but when you look closely, you will see a lot of colour and softness.  You notice different shades of red and brown dust.  The rocky ridges come in all shades from browns to oranges and when the sun sets over the land, the sky is painted a peachy pink.  It’s beautiful like no where else in the world.’

This collection is handmade in Brisbane, Melbourne and Mt Isa by all three artists - from hand cut timber, lightweight white acrylic back with Glenda’s art print, hand poured resin, recycled aluminium/brass/copper and surgical steel and sterling silver jump rings, studs or hooks.   

A collaboration with Liz from Little Art Earrings that features the amazing artwork of Ingrid Bartkowiak, a Brisbane based Artist and Illustrator whose work is whimsical and encourages an appreciation for Australia’s nature.

This collection is handmade is Brisbane and Melbourne by all three artists - from hand cut timber, lightweight white acrylic back with Ingrid’s art print, hand poured resin, recycled aluminium/brass/copper and surgical steel and sterling silver jump rings, studs or hooks.

A collaboration with Alice from Alice Nightingale.

From design to final detail, all Alice Nightingale pieces are made with love by Alice in her sunny Brisbane studio! Her focus on using second-hand, vintage and locally produced fabrics means her designs are not only hand made to outlast fast fashion cycles, but are also environmentally and socially sustainable.

In late 2009, Alice completed her diploma of fashion design and technology with a goal to create quality clothing in small quantities. Feminine and quirky, her designs are inspired by vintage trends and local flora and fauna.

Each design is one of only a handful and made to be worn each day!  

This collection is individually handmade is Brisbane by both artists.  Each of us collaborated on the images to be used and then developed a body of works to match.  Alice designed and handmade each garment, starting from a hand drawn sketch to individual sewing each piece together and finishing with the cutest vintage zippers, buttons and embellishments.  My pieces started out from sketched drawings, which I then hand cut, stamped and filed before a final sand and polish and the sterling silver hooks, magnets or key chains added.

    

A collaboration with Liz from Little Art Earrings that features the amazing artwork of Joy Chiang, a Melbourne based Artist and Painter.  She strives to create contemporary abstract art that captures emotions and beauty through the language of colour.  Her background is in urban planning and development where she studied at the University of Melbourne, but she has always loved everything art and design.

Joy describes her mix media art as the physical manifestation of her curiosity intersecting with the start of an early mid-life crisis; blending inspiration from nature and adding explosions of city chaos.  This results in beautiful emotive pieces.  Her latest work has been inspired by motherhood and the love for her family.  Joy always conveys a sense of freedom and of course.. joy!

A collaboration with Liz from Little Art Earrings that features the amazing artwork of Michael Black, a Sydney based Artist, who utilises expressive forms and techniques of mixed media to reveal an unfolding story within his work. 

Having completed a BA in Fine Arts (Design) at UNSW & Design in Sydney, Australia, Michael has been featured in both solo and group exhibitions.  He also is passionate about street art and has done a number of public murals.
