Crafted by hand in my Brisbane home studio, each MCJ piece starts out as a sketched drawing, is hand cut, stamped, drilled, polished and assembled by me.  Variations in placement, alignment, and spacing mean that no two pieces will ever be the same. The beauty of this is that every Meekz piece will be unique to each wearer.

Adopting an ethically responsible and environmentally friendly practice, all MCJ pieces are made using recycled, reclaimed and repurposed metals, breathing life back into forgotten treasures.

• Earrings measure 8mm in Diameter
• Made from Recycled copper, brass or sterling silver & include sterling silver butterfly backs
• Earring posts are made from hypoallergenic sterling silver
• Earrings come in a raw natural finish or with a black patina / sharpie pen in the stamp.
• All MCJ come in a sustainable gift box

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

These studs are made to age gracefully, from a raw, bright and shiny to a tarnished yet elegant vintage. They can also come with a black patina finish, which is a surface treatment that adds depth and colour.

• For the Raw Natural metals, you will need to clean them regularly to maintain the shiny finish. Use Brasso for brass and copper and a polishing cloth for sterling silver.
• For Black Patina on all metals you don’t need to do anything. The patina is a surface treatment that will wear away over time, revealing the metal below.  Only clean when necessary.
• Please avoid wearing while swimming, spraying perfumes and take care while wearing in the sun, as sun screen and perspiration can cause the tarnishing process to quicken.
