Dachshund Dog Brooch.
Calling all DOG lovers.... this brooch is the perfect addition to any outfit if you LOVE Dachshund Dogs like me.
Made from recycled Brass or Copper, each brooch is hand forged using a centre punch and hammer to create this unique dot texture.
Each dachshund is hand textured, hand sawn and the edges filed smooth. The brooch is then sanded to remove any imperfections or scratches and polished to a light shine. A pressure clasp pin or industrial magnet is then glued to the back and left to dry for up to three days to ensure a proper curing process.
Each dachshund measures approximately 30mm tall and 60mm wide.
The brooch comes in a natural finish, adding to the character and charm.
The brass or copper will tarnish over time, so can be polished with Brasso if you don't like the vintage aged look (see cleaning tips for more information).
This brooch is available with a traditional barrel pin clasp for ease of use or industrial strength magnets (1kg pulling power per magnet) eliminating holes in your clothing.
