Want to design your own unique, one-of-a-kind, original pieces of jewellery and be proud to say you made them yourself?  Well, you have come to the right place.

 Wedding Ring Making Workshop.

Designed especially for the happy couple, this one day workshop will allow both of you to make each other’s rings or design your own through my guidance and support.

You will learn the traditional silversmithing techniques used to make 1 finished ring each.

Experiment with recycled raw metals such as sterling silver, copper or brass, or get creative by adding electrical wire, cutlery, old jewellery, teapots, lamp shades or blinds to make your masterpieces extra special.   

Have some recycled, reused or repurposed metal or materials you would like to incorporate into your design then let me know and I can see if it is possible.

Access to my toolset, all materials and safety equipment will be included.

This workshop runs for 6 hours.

The workshop will be held at Meekz HQ in Lutwyche, Queensland.

Workshop Tuition: $560 / couple + material costs.

Please note: Materials are NOT included in this Workshop fee as each ring design is custom.  A materials quote will be provided alongside a tuition fee invoice in response to your booking enquiry.

Kids Metalsmithing - Textured Jewellery Making Workshop.

Join me for a fun, colourful, creative, thought provoking and skill building day. Working with recycled aluminium each child will experiment with pattern, texture, shape, colour and design to personalise their own masterpieces.

The basic metalsmithing techniques of necklace/earring/ring making including metal texturing, filing, sanding and polishing will be explored using a variety of tools.

Each child will have the opportunity to add their own creative touches to their piece along the way, while learning key techniques and skills.

This workshop will run for 3 hours so each child can make 1 - 2 creations.

The workshop will be held at Meekz HQ in Lutwyche Queensland or a location of your choice can be arranged (minimum numbers will depend on location).

Workshop Tuition: $80 / child includes materials and use of all tools.

Minimum of 5 children so $400 per class @ MKZ HQ, minimum 7 other locations.

Designed for participants aged 10 years to 15 years.

Introduction to Metalsmithing - Open Making Workshop.

Join me for a fun and creative day, learning how to design and fabricate textured jewellery, sculpture or art using recycled metals. 

The basic metalsmithing techniques of mark making including metal texturing, hand sawing, filing, sanding and finishing will be explored using a variety of tools.  You will have the opportunity to add your own creative touches to your pieces along the way, while learning key techniques and skills.

Experiment with raw metals such as aluminium, copper or brass, or get creative with a selection of reused metals including electrical wire, old jewellery, teapots, lamp shades or blinds to make your masterpieces extra special. 

This workshop will run for 4 hours in which you will design your own custom jewellery, sculpture or art.   You will have the opportunity to make 1 - 2 finished pieces.

The workshop will be held at Meekz HQ in Lutwyche Queensland or a location of your choice can be arranged.

Workshop Tuition: $200 / person includes material costs and use of all tools.

Join me for a fun and creative day, learning how to design and fabricate copper rings, using recycled Copper Piping salvaged from my local plumber.  You will have the opportunity to experiment with the size, pattern, colour and finish of each ring to create your own masterpieces.

The basic silversmithing techniques of ring making including metal texturing, hand sawing, filing, sanding and polishing will be explored using a variety of tools.  

This workshop will run for 4 hours in which you will have the option of making 2 - 3 rings.

The silversmithing techniques of ring making including metal texturing, hand sawing, filing, shaping, soldering, doming, sanding, polishing and metal oxidisation will be explored using a variety of tools.  You will have the opportunity to add your own creative touches to your ring along the way, while learning key techniques and skills.

This workshop will run for 5 hours in which you will be making 1 copper / silver based spinner ring -  the design is completely up to you!!!

The workshop will be held at Meekz HQ in Lutwyche Queensland.

Introduction to Silversmithing Earring Hook Making Masterclass Workshop.

Join me for a fun and creative day, learning how to design and fabricate earring hooks from recycled sterling silver using a custom made earring jig.

The basic silversmithing techniques of hook making including hand sawing, filing, sanding and polishing will be explored using a variety of tools.  You will have the opportunity to add your own creative touches to your hooks along the way, while learning key techniques and skills.

This workshop will run for 2.5 hours in which you will be making up your own earring jig and designing up to 4 styles of hooks.  You will also go home with 8 pairs of sterling silver hooks in a style of your choice.

The workshop will be held at Meekz HQ in Lutwyche Queensland.
