Then join Kate and me for a fun and creative session at The Olive Branch Studio / Urban Co-Lab in Kedron. Let's unlock your creativity and originality to make some super cool Christmas Ornaments.
You will learn how to design and fabricate textured ornaments using recycled metals. The basic metalsmithing techniques: of mark making including metal texturing, hand sawing, filing, soldering, sanding and polishing will be explored using various tools.
You will have the opportunity to add your own creative touches to your ornament along the way.
The workshop will run for 2 hours and you will make 1 - 2 Christmas Ornaments depending on their size.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING / WEAR:
• All necessary tools and materials will be provided on the evening/day.
• Pen and paper to take notes.
• Enclosed shoes.
• No loose items of clothing (as they may get caught in equipment).
• Hair tied back.
• Glasses, if you need them to see up close or for detailed work.
• Money, if wanting to make more designs or purchase extra metal or tools.

ABOUT OUR WORKSHOP:
• MAXIMUM 10 PEOPLE PER WORKSHOP.
• These workshops are for ages 16 years and above.
