I spent my Saturday in Meekz fantastic silversmith workshop and was blown away by the step by step process and working of with different metals. Meekz is a natural teacher/instructor, and was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She has a fabulous workshop space, is skilled and passionate about her trade, and creates beautiful unique pieces. I walked away with a new respect and insight in the art of silversmithing, and a deep satisfaction with the 4 rings I made(under Meekz fabulous instruction)!! I’d love to do more..

I purchased a ring from Jemica at one of the local 'made-by-hand' markets. Unfortunately didn't have one in my size the first time we spoke, but was happy to do a short consult on materials, size, and style for a ring I could order and pick-up later. She did an amazing job and absolutely delivered on exactly what I had in mind. Super stoked with this, highly recommend anyone reading this review to purchase something from her.

I had the pleasure of doing the intro to silversmithing workshop with Jemica, with no previous jewellery-making experience. I had so much fun and made a bunch of lovely rings. Jemica is so helpful in ensuring everyone got what they wanted out of the workshop. She was really good at giving us lots of help as we learned and then more freedom afterwards to be creative and try new things.

My order arrived quickly and was just like what was pictured. loved the communication. Have already had friends comment on them that they loved them too.Would definitely recommend

Jemica's jewellery is beautiful and very well made. She is a lovely person and her customer service is excellent.
I really liked her Eucalyptus Brooch. I wanted a pin to secure it rather than the magnets. Not a problem for Jemica. She texted me the postal details and it arrived within a few days. The brooch is lovely and exactly what I wanted.
I also bought a pair of Boston Terrrier earrings for my granddaughter who absolutely loved them.

Really love my Pom Pom Drop Earrings made by Meekz Contemporary Jewellery. Had a red pair for a couple of years & regularly wore them. Managed to lose one - how annoying! Was thrilled to run into Meekz at an Artisan market on 02/06/24 - immediately put in an order for another pair. Arrived not too long after in the mail. Now I can wear my favourite earrings again. I love my Christmas Beetle Earrings. I purchased the colour change ones and love the iridescent look. The earrings are exceptionally well made, high quality and comfortable to wear.
The Christmas Beetle has special significance to me. When my 18 year old Grandson passed away in May, a Christmas Beetle landed on my pillow. The Christmas Beetles keep popping up for myself and others on special occasions. It is fitting because Jayden was born on Christmas Day.
I’m saving up to purchase the green ones next for my daughter. Green was Jayden’s favourite colour 🪲

Meekz’s has been running an introduction to metal-smithing jewellery workshop for our students at Moreton Bay College for some year now and the experience is always fantastic. Jemica tailors the experience to suit each student's abilities and needs which is so helpful in the classroom with varying skill levels. I came across the Meekz Contemporary Jewellery store at the 2024 Dog Lovers Festival in Brisbane. These Labrador earrings caught my eye, as I have a Labrador myself. I asked Meekz if she'd be willing to make a single earring into a dog tag, with my contact details stamped on the back, and she was eager to help! I received this dog tag yesterday and it looks fantastic!

Thanks for your hard work making the dog tag a reality, Meekz! I love that my Labrador has a bespoke dog tag, matching her breed. 😊
